RP Special Holiday February 22, 2010 for all School

Malacañang announces that all school will be a Special Holiday together with the celebration of 24th Anniversary of EDSA Poeple Power Revolution on Monday, February 22, 2010. As per the Republic Act (R.A.) 9492, all holidays are being move near to Monday, unless there are any changes in Republic Act and Proclamation. Republic of the Philippines President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo Proclamation No. 1841 dated July 2009 declares that regular holidays, special and special non-working holidays for all schools.

We are about to leave Year 2009 and welcome the Year 2010. As we start year 2009 many of us don't know what will happen in the future, but as the days goes by, their are lots of calamities we've encountered such flash flood in certain areas, massacres, and even ferry deaths. Now that we are about to leave the miserable happenings in year 2009, lets welcome and enjoy the year 2010 with a strong feeling that we are going to succeed and with a smile of course.

January 1, 2010- New Year
April 1, 2010- Maundy Thursday
April 2, 2010- Good Friday
April 9, 2010- Araw ng Kagitingan
May 1, 2010- Labor Day
June 12, 2010- Independence Day
August 29, 2010- National Heroes Day
November 30, 2010- Bonifacio Day
December 25, 2010- Christmas Day
December 30, 2010- Rizal Day
